Track wall sawing helps meet deadlines at a challenging time for construction

Tracy Track Wall Sawing

Like many sectors in the last couple of years, the construction industry has suffered, with many smaller businesses becoming casualties of the situation.  This is not just as a result of the global pandemic but also due to supply chain issues, associated with Brexit. On top of this the rise in inflation due to the increase in energy and fuel costs has put further pressure on construction project decisions.

These factors alongside the recent rise in the Omicron variant has caused the sectors recovery to slow as clients hold back on development decisions.  Having survived previous lows relating to recession, political unease and other issues threatening the financial stability of the nations’ businesses, National Drilling Services has weathered these storms.  We continue to serve the sector with our dedicated, trained and skilled operators providing not only drilling services but track wall sawing, cutting, sealing and demolition services too.

Why use National Drilling Services for your track wall sawing?

With over 30 years of experience working within the construction sector, the team at National Drilling Services has witnessed many changes in working practices.  Our strict health and safety policies position us above many of our competitors as we maintain a key focus on keeping our employees and those who work around them on site safe.

Over the years we have invested in the latest machines and technology to facilitate the work of our operators whilst presenting accurate and fast solutions for our clients.  We have the latest high powered saws and hydraulic driven machines. Where possible we use such alternative power to avoid fumes on site further, protecting all site operators.

We stock a range of diamond blades with diameters from 450mm up to 2m. With such a range of blade sizes we can meet your on site needs no matter how small or large the required cutting area is.

When to use track wall sawing and why?

Our operators use track wall sawing for vertical, horizontal and even sometimes for inverted cuts. With track wall sawing we can create fast and efficient cuts to a maximum depth of 800mm.

Track wall sawing can be used for accurate cutting through reinforced concrete and masonry structures, creating much smoother and more precise cuts than those made with other concrete cutting tools. To give you an idea when we might use track wall sawing, here is a list of some of the applications where we regularly use track wall sawing:

  • forming angled cuts
  • sawing though staircases
  • creating door, window and vent openings

The most common application is when we are required to cut out doorways, lift shafts, stairways  or window apertures when flush cutting against walls for breaking lines.  However did you know that track wall sawing can also be used in demolition for separation cutting?

To discuss your on site cutting requirements and to find out if track wall sawing could be used on your construction or demolition project call us on 0161 443 2822.
